Grumpy Girls Ceramics

Grumpy on the outside, cozy on the inside.

Grumpy Girl Ceramics is a Brooklyn studio working primarily in porcelain, offering small-batch, slip-trailed pieces with bold glazes, tiny quirks, and lots of heart.

Yellow ceramic container with an intricately carved lid, both featuring spiral and abstract patterns, placed on a plain white background.
Ceramic pot with intricate textured blue and orange glaze design
Colorful, abstract painted ceramic bowl with swirling and dotted patterns on a white background.
Ceramic bowl shaped like a cat's head with black abstract line art design.

Pieces feature hand-piped slip-trailed designs.  Slip trailing liquid porcelain onto the form leaves delicate raised marks that you can see and touch, amplified by the glaze.
